Located in the very heart of Istanbul, the 3-star Mr. Bird Hotel offers fast access to Basilica Cistern, just 0.8 km away. The hotel features a terrace and various recreational opportunities as well as Wi-Fi in public areas.
The accommodation overlooks the Marmara Sea and enjoys a prime location around 5 minutes' walk from Marmaray Sirkeci. The Holy mosque "Hagia Sophia Museum" is just a short drive from this hotel, while Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International airport is 45 km from it. Sultanahmet District is nearly a 15-minute walk away, while Sirkeci is situated within 10 minutes' walk of the property. Mr. Bird Hotel stands a mere 450 metres from the large Topkapi Palace harem Museum, opposite Big Tours Istanbul bus stop.
All of the well-appointed rooms are complete with complimentary Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as a mini fridge bar and tea/coffee making equipment, and some of them include a terrace and a sitting area. The attention to detail at the hotel was impeccable - from the cozy sitting area in my room to the complimentary tea and coffee facilities that made me feel right at home. The room's parquet floor added a touch of elegance, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment after a long day of exploring Istanbul's historic sites, all within walking distance. The free toiletries in the sparkling clean bathroom were a lovely touch. The hotel's convenient proximity to a variety of excellent dining options, including Gar Pub Restaurant just steps away, made my stay even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend Mr Bird highly enough for its outstanding accommodations and exceptional service.
